Stonewalt is a denim jean that is fire, water, and chemical resistant. The idea came when I was patching jeans that had been burnt from welding for the third time. I lined the jeans with Westex resistant fabric which, along with adding the fire, water, and chemical resistance, can also add different levels of warmth for those working in hard conditions. The main tag plays with the idea of the jeans being lined by having a two layer velum-paper combo along with the concept of the jean. The Westex tag shows the level of protection with a sample of the fabric embedded between the paper. The largest tag has the basic purchasing information: price, size, bar code, and information for the type of the jean style. The price tag is removable at the bottom of the larger tag for gift purchasing. I also designed stickers to make it easy to pick your choice of jeans when they are folded on the shelf. I advertised Stonewalt by making web banners and social media presents to reach a broad audience.
